Gallery makeover – upcycling project

I sometimes feel I am constantly drawn towards many different things and my mind wanders to oceanic extents.
Do you ever feel like following an interest or hobby for a while, and the next moment you start over-analyzing and being a self critic towards your own thoughts?
Through my blogs, I would like to re-create that inspiration to whoever is reading, and may be make you realize that it’s just an inspiration away, to do whatever you always wanted to try and bring to reality.
Here, going slightly away from my gardening , cooking and travelling posts, is one such blog, where I have tried to uplift an empty gallery/veranda space by merely spending close to 1000 INR, and upcycling whatever interesting I found dumped on my terrace.
So, here we go.
I hope the below pictures, speak for themselves in showing the Before–>After of all the things I put to use.
I don’t expect a round of applause, just a like or comment below would mean a lot..

The gallery before the makeover:

Things I found on my terrace:

2

I bought these tribal face wall art pieces from the feast at Goa-Velha:

Close to 100 year old pickle storing jar: “Made in England” – painted it with oil paint and some acrylic for the pop.

6

Another random cob web clad basket I found, varnished it for some glow:

Also found these old clay vessels  which were used during a wedding: Made them pretty using acrylic colors.

4

I got this baby Buddha from the Feast fair too. Look at the cuteness.

Added some flower pots, some plants, some more pickle jars (buyaav) and set it all up to make it look as below:

My high source of inspiration for this blog were:

@thegoanfoodstory – my sister in law

@gardenup.in – one of the best Indian vlogger about gardening

@interiormaata  – an interior designer, who is extremely sweet and creative in her vlogs.

Thank you for reading..
Lots of love,
Shradha
